.NET Developer (Hybrid - Reston, VA)
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A Company who's mission is to provide excellent consulting experience to all members of the Federal, and legal industry is looking for a .NET Developer to join their team.
This role would be working with a team of Software Engineers to maintain and develop their applications as needed using C#/.NET.
This position is a Full-time hybrid opportunity, requiring presence onsite for 3 days, and it is based in Reston, VA.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5-10 Years Experience in Software Engineering. (No more than 10 years) Experience in C#/.NET (ASP .NET, .NET Core, and/or .NET) Experience in Azure, AWS or GCP MUST be able to attain a Public-trust Clearance. MUST be able to commute to work 3 days a week (this includes a reliable form of transportation).
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience in JavaScript or Typescript. Experience with Rest APIs Already has a public trust clearance. Great Communication.

Daily Responsibilities
Work on team of engineers in the creation of new applications and updates to existing ones. This entails tasks such as analyzing and defining requirements, designing systems, implementing solutions, conducting testing, managing deployment, and ensuring sustained functionality. Develop and deliver novel features and applications in alignment with specified requirements and design specifications. Interface directly with the business to collect requirements and work collaboratively with team members to oversee the development, delivery, and support of systems and vendor integrations. Take the lead in influencing requirements, conducting business analysis, and making architectural decisions for systems. Spend half you time managing the team and with the other half, play an active role throughout the project lifecycle, covering aspects like design, storyboarding, prototyping, development, testing, deployment, and implementation of custom business applications using the latest tools and technologies. Define requirements and features with business users, providing regular status reports on both development and maintenance tasks. Act as a team contributor, engaging actively and sharing technical expertise with fellow developers.
