On-site Senior Infrastructure Engineer
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in data center operations, with a focus on Windows Servers and Infrastructure, Cisco networking products, and Acronis/ThinClient technologies.
Responsibilities
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. Manage and administer Windows Servers and Infrastructure, including but not limited to Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco networking products such as routers, switches, and firewalls to support network connectivity and security. Utilize Acronis and/or ThinClient technologies for backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint management solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to enhance data center efficiency, scalability, and resilience. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 8-10 years of hands-on experience in data center operations, including server administration, networking, and infrastructure management. Extensive professional experience with Windows Servers and Infrastructure, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Cisco networking products (routers, switches, firewalls) to support enterprise networks. Strong working knowledge of Acronis and/or ThinClient technologies for backup, recovery, and endpoint management. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, Acronis Certified Engineer (ACE), or equivalent. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
