Position Responsibilities
Join Mount Sinai Medical Center as a Student Nurse Tech! This is a great opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting, while focusing on your main priority, nursing school!
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, responsible for providing basic patient care such as bathing, feeding, taking vital signs, and monitoring patients’ behavior and physical condition. Ensures patient personal and oral hygiene needs are met daily and/or as necessary. Provides catheters care daily and/or as needed. Reports any pertinent observations to RN. Completes assigned nursing orders as directed by preceptor/Registered Nurse, including assisting patient with activities of daily living.
Minimum Requirements
Must be enrolled in accredited school of nursing and have completed fundamentals of nursing courses. BLS certification required.
Schedule
Minimum of 2, 12-hour shifts per month Day shift: 7am-7pm Night shift: 7pm-7am
