📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are conducting a confidential search for a Plant Controller with a client company of ours that is a global supplier to the automotive and commercial vehicle industries. This is a direct-hire position and it is based around Goshen, IN.
This Sr.-level position will partner with the leadership team in translating business strategy into action that drives business results for this key location.
- Responsible for accounting, financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, inventory management, forecasting, cost accounting, forecasting, and related analytical analysis.-Responsible for the monthly financial closing process.-Ensure that internal controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively.-Responsible for fixed asset accounting, including capital project reviews, asset capitalization and the physical inventory of fixed assets.-Accountable for inventory management, ensuring that the plant's inventory controls are adequate, reconciling inventory balances monthly, identifying overage and aging material issues, and coordinating periodic physical inventories.-Responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and variance analysis on costing activities.
