📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE MSC Cruises, the world's third largest cruise line brand is expanding its food and beverage team in the US. The primary objective of this role is to oversee and manage the Master Order requests generated by ships across the Caribbean fleet. The goal is to ensure alignment with predetermined par levels and to oversee the accuracy of purchasing requests in terms of items, volume, and cost.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Monitoring of Master Order requestsOversight of onboard consumptionCoordination with Food & Beverage Operations managersEnsuring adherence to par levelsPreparation of business case simulations to support strategic decision-makingProactive proposal of actions to the team based on insights gleaned from analysisParticipation in cross-functional business projects and conducting ad hoc analysisExtraction and analysis of relevant information from various IT sources, supporting the team in translating data into actionable insights
QUALIFICATIONS Strong knowledge of F&B productsPrevious experience in a supply chain role, preferably within the cruise industryExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse workforcesProficiency in computer systems; familiarity with Crunch Time is advantageousAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesFluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
