Program Manager Commercial Initiatives

JOB PURPOSE The Program Manager Commercial Initiatives will be responsible for organizing, supervising, and managing large commercial initiatives for MSC Cruises US. The role involves developing and implementing strategies, products, and services that enhance MSC's customer offering. Executing large initiatives at MSC is highly cross-functional and requires strong coordination with MSC corporate functions. The role also requires a strong ability to identify new sales opportunities and efficiencies and deliver impactful results by conducting thoughtful assessments.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Leads programs and initiatives from concept to completionIdentifies potential risks or impacts to business and provides solutions Prioritizes projects based on largest impact to company successIdentify ‘quick wins'Evaluates department needs post-deployment of project (training materials, communications, reference articles, etc.)Manages business owner relationshipsRegularly update key stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS Excellent written and oral communication skillsBachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent5+ years relevant experience; Management Consulting experience preferred; Cruise or Airline experience preferredDemonstrated ability to lead and manage projects that impact multiple sales and service channelsProven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesAcute attention to detailAbility to communicate with individuals at all organizational levels via phone, video, email, and in-personProject Management – The ability to move a project from initial concept to final delivery, while managing expectations and timelines of business ownersProblem Solving – Be creative and thorough in offering solutions when obstacles are presented from both a technical and people perspective. This individual will need to be an expert in all department workflows in order to offer solutionsCommunication – Consistently communicate with business owners and others in the organization to manage deadlines and deliverable dates. Ability to create content that supports the final project and can be leveraged by front-line employees.Leadership Skill – Develop relationships with employees throughout the organization (corporate and local markets) to identify problems and offer solutions on how to best overcome the obstacles, while keeping system and work-flow limitations in mind.
