Job Description

Are you a master networker with your ear to the ground? This role is for you. The manager of audience development will identify and grow high-value audiences for MSNBC Live, our new live events business. This role will support curating the audiences of live events and ensuring the right people are always in the room.

Responsibilities

Develop a strategy for growing and building MSNBC Live audience and engagementOwn and build the internal rolodex to ensure the right people are in the room for MSNBC Live eventsWork closely with editorial team to identify best audience that will drive higher reach and engagementWork with research team to curate most ideal inviteesEstablish strong working relationships with internal and external partners to create new channels for reach and engagementIdentify best strategy to expand the MSNBC Live reach and brand

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience5+ years experience in audience development and networkingDemonstrated expertise in audience curationExcellent communication skillsExcellent presentation skillsProven ability to work with internal and external partnersDeep understanding of Washington, D.C. and its nuances

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
