Job Description

The Production Manager will serve as the organizational, technical, logistical lead for MSNBC Digital and the MSNBC video content team. The Production Manager organizes teams of writers, producers and editors who produce content all day.

You must have exceptional organizational skills. An experienced project manager who is highly organized, thrives on meeting deadlines, and takes initiative to get things done. You’ll be the person making sure all aspects of production are running smoothly, keeping track of schedules, deadlines and being the liaison to our external partners.

The role requires expertise in Google sheets, task management tools and all social media platforms. Someone who knows how to produce spreadsheets, color-coded calendar systems and presentation decks.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years experience in production management / operations Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail Exceptional communication skillsExpert knowledge in technical operations for all social media platforms Proficiency in Google sheets, G Suite, PowerPoint, SlackExperience with coordinating schedules and spreadsheets Proficiency in Excel, Monday.com and other organizational team systemsMust work in New York City

Preferred Experience

Proficiency with digital gear (camera operations, microphones)
