Job SummaryWe are hiring a Senior Accountant who is looking for a challenging accounting leader role in a fast-growing SaaS company. This Senior Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day operations and plays a key role in MTech’s finance team at MTech.

Job ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end closing, prepare journal entries, reconcile inter-company transactions, review account balances, and report in the parent company’s consolidation system.Supervise and assist closing activities performed by the team members.Prepare complex monthly business review report after month-end close.Provide accounting guidance on the daily accounting activities performed by the team members.Prepare internal control documentation and respond to quarterly internal control questionnaire required by the parent company.Prepare cash flow reports required by the parent company and MTech.Prepares requested documents and assists internal and external audits.Process accounts payable transactions and enter the transactions on the company’s credit cardImproves accounting and operational processes.Ad-hoc request as assigned.

RequirementsFour-year college degree in accounting or equivalentCPA or CPA track preferred.5+ years of work experience in corporate accountingStrong working knowledge in US GAAP or IFRS, including full understanding on financial statements, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statementExcellent work ethics, strong attention to detail and commitment to meet deadlinesStrong technical, analytical, communications, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Suite. Advanced Excel skills are a mustNetSuite or equivalent ERP system requiredExperience in financial auditSpanish or Portuguese language skills preferred but not required
