📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
EHS Specialist- Direct hire- Hillsboro and Gresham, OR- Hybrid (on-site for first 60 days to establish, quarterly travel to AZ)
Industry: Semiconductor
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annually
You bring:- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field- 5+ years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment- Semiconductor experience required- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is highly desirable
Role: This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of all operations within the facility. The EHS Specialist will develop and enforce EHS protocols, conduct regular audits, and provide training to employees. They will be responsible for investigating accidents and incidents to prevent recurrence and ensure continuous improvement in safety standards. As the EHS Specialist, you will report directly to the HR Manager. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver, agile with phenomenal communication.
