Position Summary

The Emergency Services Technician Lab is an exciting opportunity on the MultiCare Off Campus Emergency Department team, offering a supportive role assisting practitioners with patient care and executing administrative and clinical procedures. Working in collaboration, you will ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experience.

Responsibilities

You will perform direct patient care as directedYou will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment. Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reductionFoster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care teamAdvocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

Requirements

High School Diploma or GEDCurrent Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, or successful completion of EMT Training CourseEMT will be required to obtain NA-R within ninety 90) days of hireMedical Assistant-Registered Certification (must apply within seven (7) days of hireMust obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) daysMA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R, per department requirementsCurrent CPR CertificationPrevious experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.64 - $34.11 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
