Munchbird, a Chicago-based dog treat brand, is on the lookout for a dedicated Field Marketer to join our team this summer. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing start-up and lead brand activation events across the Chicagoland area, including farmers' markets, in-store samplings, artisan markets, and more. If you're passionate about sales, marketing, and the pet industry and are eager to spread the word about Munchbird's products, we'd love to hear from you.Job Details:Flexible Schedule: Work as much or as little as you want – no need to commit to every single weekend all summer long.Competitive Compensation: Earn a combination of hourly pay and commissions, with rates ranging from $23 to $39/hour, depending on sales volumes. The average hourly earnings are $24/hour.Weekend Events: Events typically on Saturday and Sunday mornings.Event Hours Range from 4 to 8 hours, with most lasting around 4 hours, giving you time to enjoy the outdoors.Transportation: A car or access to one is essential.Skills and Qualifications:Problem-SolvingSelf-MotivatedReliableStrong Communication SkillsResilient to RejectionValid Driver's LicenseAccess to a Car (with Automobile Insurance)Ability to Lift 40 lbsEagerness to LearnResponsibilities:Train with leadership to understand the product, sales pitch, and sales process.Arrive at the event 30 minutes before it begins to set up.Set up the tent, table, inventory, and signage at the event.Prepare and offer free samples to visitors.Educate attendees about our brand mission, product benefits, and usage instructions.Process orders and collect customer information via our Shopify POS system.Break down the booth at the end of the market and return materials to our warehouse.Compensation: $15/hour + 7.5% commission on net sales (blended average $25-35/hour depending on sales volumes).About Us: Munchbird is a Chicago-based dog treat brand dedicated to providing high-quality, all-natural pet treats.
