Cash Analyst

Job Description

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate all incoming receipts from Treasury Services and maintain excel spreadsheet to ensure all receipts are properly identified.Record, identify, and distribute electronic cash receipts for Reinsurance Accounting.Apply daily cash receipts and disbursements for assigned book of business. Confirm changes to client’s banking information and start workflow Resolve all cash and account discrepancies through research and communication with the accounting units and all internal/external clients including all domestic and international branch offices.Perform billings/collections of the monthly premiums for Treaty Installments and Facultative CertificatesAssist in the preparation of special projects, monthly analyses, etc. Meet all cash closing schedules on a timely basis.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess the following experience, skills, and capabilities:

Associate Degree (Accounting or Business degree preferred) 2+ years of insurance accounting experience. Strong communication skills both oral and written. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
