What You Will Be Responsible For
Distribution Team Leadership
Leverage sales management expertise to develop and execute Americas sales strategy designed to grow our business and ensure the Americas distribution team achieves its financial targets.Manage sales and relationship management resources across the Americas; define sales goals and drive results.Support the development & articulation of strategic plans and translate this strategy into actionable plans.Entrench platinum client relationships by leading a strategic partnership program.Identify opportunities in new markets or market segments to grow the business.Build on SSGA leadership position to provide differentiated solutions to investors.Build relationships with sales teams to best support their prospecting and client relationship management needs, ensuring effectiveness in the field and communicating results to senior leadershipLead strategic planning for growth initiatives, competitive intelligence and business projectsFacilitate shared understanding of the Americas strategy and priorities across key stakeholdersProvide first-line leadership on client engagement issuesTranslate regional strategy into action by aligning business activities to the vision and strategy of the broader global organization
Governance and risk excellence
As required, assume responsibility as the Legal Entity head, ensuring robust board governance and compliance with contractual, statutory and regulatory obligationsProvide executive level point of contact for clients, regulators, external audit and other governance bodiesAct as the senior in-region escalation point for client issues, regulatory and other matters across the businessProvide leadership to governance committees sharing expertise, insights and ensuring cross functional participationEnsure a control environment that supports a compliance and risk culture.
Organizational leadership
Lead collaboration across State Street Bank divisions to promote the franchise and create a strong outcome for our clients.Identify opportunities to partner with Institutional Services and Global Markets divisions to develop and deliver "One State Street" solutions to clientsAttend executive meetings to ensure the highest level of connectivity and contribute to the tactical priorities of the businessLead initiatives designed to maintain GA and STT organizational culture, fiduciary mindset and improve employee experienceFoster a culture of speaking up when there is an issue and group accountabilityPromote a culture of continuous improvement

Additional Requirements
Minimum of 15 years of experience selling to and/or servicing institutions7+ years of meaningful sales leadership experience, including success positioning active strategies and exceeding growth targetsExperience in an Investment Management organization, ideally with knowledge in sales management practicesExperience in dealing with institutional and intermediaries business in the AmericasExisting industry profile and relationships that can accelerate the success of sales initiativesTrack record of building complex solutions with and for clients, including active and multi-asset class strategies
This role would be Boston based.
Salary Range
$300,000 - $412,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
