Job Responsibilities
Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendorsDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersDrives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processesServes as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focusActively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life CycleInfluences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologiesAdds to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceExpert technical Skills in CICS, Web services, BMS Maps and CICS Main view, REXX, CLIST, IBM-Z/OS COBOL, VSAM, JCL, JAVA J2EE, WAS-WOLAStrong Database design and development skills of DB2 V12, DB2 performance tuning, DB2 SQL and Stored ProceduresStrong Skills in All IBM Utilities, XPED tools, File Aid, TSO/ISPF/SDSFEffective proficiencies in FTP/NDM/File-Mover, CA-7 Expert skills in IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution and XML parsing toolsHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightPractical cloud native experienceExperience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Business knowledge of US Dollar payment process system and fund transfer processExcellent understanding of different industry wide payment formats such as SWIFT, (CHIP) Clearing House, FRB (Federal Reserve Bank)Extensive experiences in CHIP/Fed Payments/Deposits cover and extended remittance transaction process
