As a Commercial Bank Treasury Management Officer in our Life Sciences Specialized Industry vertical, you will work closely with a growing team of bankers primarily on generating new Treasury Management business from current and prospective Life Sciences clients. You will be a member of the TS Sales team focused specifically on this vertical, so an understanding of and passion for Life Sciences as an industry is critical to your success and the success of the group. In this role you are a sales leader, and as such you will develop partnerships with Bankers, Client Service, Product Partners and Implementation teams in order bring the scale and value of the firm to your clients.

The Life Sciences Specialized Industry vertical within Middle Market Banking Specialized Industries is focused on the banking needs of biotech companies, pharmaceuticals, and medical device companies.

Job Responsibilities

Grow revenue by successfully prospecting and sourcing new treasury management business while retaining and expanding existing customer relationships.  Create strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues, incorporating best practices, industry benchmarking, opportunity quantification and solution positioning Collaborate with bankers and clients at senior and strategic levels to proactively provide integrated treasury solutions within a consultative and client driven framework Independently lead business process reviews aligned to key client sales opportunities and engage industry solutions specialist for complex client business process reviews Raise new solution ideas while partner with internal product stakeholders to represent the client perspective in the development and evolution of complex products and solutions  Deliver thought leadership to the market, prospects and clients on the working capital solutions at client roundtables, industry conferences, webinars, and professional media platforms. Manage the non-credit risk for customer portfolio and monitor and enhance profitability of all assigned relationships

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

6+ years of cash management, sales and relationship management experience Success developing new business with focus on prospecting utilizing strong selling and negotiation skills Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Service products, credit and risk process, overdraft management discipline, and pricing philosophy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, external centers of influence (COI), and external consulting organization Strong time management, organizational and planning skills Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
