About the Role

The role of the Property Manager is to provide excellent service to our investors. You will become intimately familiar with the unique operating procedures of your portfolio, execute at the highest level and ensure that the portfolio is performing optimally. You are a high performer and will manage the resolution of complex and ever-changing challenges while accurately managing expectations. Adaptability, high attention to detail and impeccable communication are a given. Your portfolio will grow rapidly and across state lines and it’s incumbent upon you to exercise extreme ownership in all areas of the business, including leasing, R&M, resident services, and accounting to ensure everything goes smoothly. You will work collaboratively with, and act as a liaison between, the investor and the rest of the Mynd organization, partnering with other departments and product as needed. This role has the support of the entire Mynd team and is critical to our growth strategy.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio in accordance with investors’ changing goals and objectivesProvide excellent customer service at all times to our investorsResolve complex problems as they arise and permanently resolve the underlying issues to prevent them from happening again, all while appropriately managing the expectations of investorsSystematically assess, organize, schedule and execute tasks by leveraging proprietary technology and our centralized teams of excellenceProactively create tasks for Mynd team members and follow up to ensure satisfactory completionBuild strong virtual relationships with all other Mynd departmentsEnthusiastically embrace innovation by testing software, processes and organizational changes, while providing actionable feedback in the spirit of continuous improvementAbility to discuss and cross-sell Mynd real estate productsYou may oversee Onsite Managers, who live on the premise of any property with sixteen or more apartments and perform various tasks at the propertyAssist investors with the purchase/sale of income properties

Qualifications

Must have an active Real Estate License Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience3+ years experience preferred in operations, real estate, customer service, or account managementPrior experience in property management, cost management, or revenue management, a plusExtreme attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-driven and intrinsically motivated with the ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlinesThrives in a fast-paced and startup environmentTech savvy

Being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment and we are unable to sponsor H1-B Visas at this time.

Compensation

$70,000 annually. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a bonus based upon achievement of performance objectives.

Travel required

Must be able to travel within the assigned area a minimum of 10% of the timeTravel may be required for training + offsites Valid drivers license and a reliable source of transportation
