CheckedUp, Inc. is searching for an experienced Assistant Controller who can provide the Controller with assistance on all financial and some HR related tasks. If you are looking for an opportunity to work with a fast-paced, growing company, and like to be able to make an impact - this could be the role for you!We are looking for a self-starting, highly detailed and strong organizational skills professional who can be trusted with sensitive information and doesn’t mind working with numerous tasks at once. The position is fully remote, and the salary range is $110k-$120k.Responsibilities and dutiesAssist with ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and journal entries.Manage AR and Collection role.Assist with detailed monthly financial statements that follow US GAAP.Assist with financial external audits.Prepare quarterly commissionsEvaluates data, performs analysis and balances against system generated reports.Contribute to developing new reports and automating process. Identifies areas of potential improvement for key processes and procedures.Requirements/ QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred.Industry experience in start-ups, technology, software is preferred.5 years accounting experience with 2 working in Accounting Manager (full cycle accounting) or Assistant Controller role in a small rapidly growing company. Advanced computer skills, proficient in excel and other Microsoft programs.Recent hands-on experience with routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash management.Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.Commitment to detailed financial accounting and reporting.Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written correspondence.Past experience working in a small to mid-sized company environment with the ability to multi-task and wear several hats.
