📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Warren County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the areas of violent crimes or drug offenses. The APA will be responsible for reviewing evidence for charging, meeting with law enforcement and victims, trial preparation, plea negotiations, and docket attendance. Our office can offer flexibility, work-life balance, trial experience, and autonomy. Desired skills include the ability to work independently, make responsible decisions on cases, and collaborate with staff in the Office and court system. Applicants need a Juris Doctorate Degree with a valid license to practice law in the state of Missouri and must be able to pass a drug test and background fitness review. Starting salary: $68,000-$80,000The salary shall be commensurate depending on experience. Other benefits include paid vacation and sick time, paid holidays, county-paid health insurance and dental premiums, and the County Employees Retirement Fund (CERF) pension plan.
