📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Hawk, Haynie, Kammeyer, & Smith LLP is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to take ownership of maintaining accurate financial records of the firm. This position reports directly to the managing attorneys. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for performing day-to-day bookkeeping operations, month-end close, financial reporting, and various other accounting functions.
Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the firm.Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Management of accounts payable, ensuring bills are paid on time and accurately recorded.Perform general ledger reconciliation and journal entries.Conduct account reconciliation. Use accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports.
Requirements: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Excel.Understanding of payroll processes and regulations. Ability to perform account reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Experience level: 5 years
We offer competitive compensation package. Pay: Based on Experience $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.Expected hours: Flexible schedule 32 to 40 hours per week. Benefits: Paid parking, 401(k), Health insurance, Paid time off
