They offer a wide range of sophisticated healthcare services, utilize state-of-the-art technology, and are known for their compassionate and caring staff.Position Summary: The Clinical Radiology Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the radiology department's processes, ensuring quality assurance, managing preventative maintenance, and handling immediate service requests. This position involves managing radiology technician candidates, schedules, and overseeing/training their skills. The manager also collaborates with administrative staff to ensure effective communication and coordination across all departmental areas.Essential Responsibilities:Conduct interviews, hire, and perform annual reviews of radiology technicians.Manage direct reports in the radiology department, including Lead Techs and the MRI Manager.Oversee the radiology Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) application.Manage external radiology vendors and interface pathways.Ensure compliance with radiology safety and licensing requirements.Possess comprehensive knowledge of various radiology equipment, including CR, DR, C-Arm, Mini C-Arm, Ultrasound, and MRI.Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for acquiring new/refurbished radiology equipment.Promote a positive company culture and provide or coordinate coaching/educational development for the radiology department.Collaborate with other directors/managers in scheduling and clinical operations.Measure and optimize productivity within the radiology department, including clinical and MRI operations.Mentor and lead reporting Managers/Leads.Develop and implement MRI schedule templates.Skills and Abilities:Excellent knowledge of radiology equipment with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.Strong team-oriented approach to task accomplishment.Exceptional communication skills.Experience/Educational Requirements:CT Licensed Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification.Solid time management and organizational skills to efficiently handle a high-volume clinic.Passionate about self-improvement for professional growth, aligned with the values of the practice.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a private group with a focus on delivering sophisticated healthcare services, utilizing cutting-edge technology, and fostering a compassionate and caring environment.
