Our client, a community health center with 9 locations and 350+ employees, is looking for a dynamic HR leader to help bring them to the next level. As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for the successful daily operation of our client’s HR Department. Out of the box thinking will be necessary to support leaders in a union environment and mentoring an expanding HR team. The ideal HR leader is willing to be hands-on and involved in the day-to-day activities of the HR department and providing HR expertise throughout the organization. The ability to balance the tactical as well as the strategic demands of leadership is a pre-requisite.
The Director of Human Resources will have the following:Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and 5 years progressive leadership in Human Resources.Experience in a collective bargaining environment required.HRCI or SHRM Certification desirable.ADP HRIS experience preferred.Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.Skilled in motivating, developing, and directing people.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.SHRM-SCP or SPHR Certification desired.Valid driver’s license required to visit company locations in Vermont.
