Junior Procurement and Planning Specialist

A locally owned company facing significant growth is searching for a Junior Procurement and Planning Specialist to support the ongoing needs of their sports nutrition, supplements and beverage purchasing and scheduling goals. This organization's focus on quality and customer satisfaction has enabled their growth and ability to expand and recognizes the need to continue their product development by selecting quality vendors and creating a favorable production schedule to optimize their efficiencies and performance goals. The primary responsibilities for the position are as follows:Source and select suppliers for goods and servicesNegotiate favorable terms, pricing and delivery schedulesDevelop production schedulesCoordination with various departments to enable optimal performance of production team Provide reports related to procurement activities and inventory levelsPresentation of information to internal and external key personnelEffective communication with suppliers and development of strong relationshipsAs the company continues to grow, the need of the positon will grow as well.
