Role Description This is a full-time and hybrid role as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Seeking Wellness Counseling Services. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for providing counseling services to clients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating individual and group therapy sessions. The role is located in Roanoke, VA, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related fieldLicensed or Provisionally Licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of VirginiaStrong knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and ethical guidelinesExperience in conducting individual and group therapy sessionsExcellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clientsAbility to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary teamProficiency in relevant counseling software and electronic health records (EHR) systemsCompletion of supervised clinical hours and ongoing professional developmentKnowledge of trauma-informed care and culturally sensitive counseling practicesExperience working with diverse populations and addressing a range of mental health concerns
