Litigation Paralegal

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable conducting research, doing data entry, scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed. ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activitiesPrepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefsCoordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to schedule meetings, and court appearancesProofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and clarity QualificationsProven experience as a litigation paralegal or similar roleStrong organizational skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of legal terminology and proceduresFamiliarity with court rules and filing requirementsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamAssociate's degree or certification in paralegal studies is preferred
