Job Details: Global Pharmaceutical Company Lab Technician - Microbiology Group Skillman, NJ - On-siteVery long term Pay $25-30/hr + PTO/Vacation days + Holidays
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology/ microbiology with No experience. Or any science degree with lab experience whether in school or professionally
need someone very detailed oriented, team player, organized, can work well with others, someone looking to help the team as needed and who can go above and beyond
position is entry level, will start out about 75%-25% of in the labs vs documentation/lab preparation. Eventually as you learn and progress, you will be given more responsibilities and will be working in the lab more often doing the testing and product development
exp with pharmaceutical products, raw materials, environmental testing, aseptic technique, ELISA, PCR, USP testing (bioburden, western blot, endotoxin, etc.) is preferred, will train on what you have not used
Individual should able to –
Understanding of safety, cGMPs and documentation for a Microbiology LaboratoryUnderstanding of general Microbiology laboratory procedures and Skillman campus procedures as related to routing sample management and testing, e.g. FusionUnderstanding of Product / Process Microbiology including:Test Method Suitability and ValidationMicrobial LimitsWater ActivityMicroorganism IdentificationPreservative Effectiveness (AET)Water TestingGrowth PromotionMedia PreparationEquipment Cleaning & Lab Cleaning
