📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Seeking an energetic and flexible Music Therapist to compliment the intervention team at our specialized autism education and treatment center in Wickliffe Ohio. Part time position with the opportunity to add hours over time.
Therapist must be skilled in small group treatment as well as 1:1 treatment sessions and value co-treatment opportunities as a means of optimizing transdisciplinary benefits to the children.
Our students range from preschool - 12th grade and function at all levels. We adhere to the neurodevelopmental model for autism created in northeast Ohio called "The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Approach" (TSA). We train our staff in TSA and provide constant mentorship support in the trenches. Full team collaboration with OT, Speech, Gen Ed, Adaptive Fitness Personnel, and specialized Aides is expected.
