Position: Patient Coordinator/Back Office Patient Care SupportWe are a Busy Downtown San Francisco Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology Practice Be a part of one of the most desirable fields in Medicine! Full Time: 7:30am to 4:30pmBA or BS Required
Great opportunity for seniors that just graduated and aspire to become medical doctors, physician assistants or nurse practitioners. Our assistants have a great track record of getting into schools to further their careers. This is a fast pace medical/cosmetic dermatology practice. We foster a professional, educationally enhanced, safe and efficient work environment where our employees can thrive.You will start out as a receptionist and learn how to assist the doctors in the rooms as well so if you choose to pursue a career in medicine, you will learn all aspects of the industry.
ResponsibilitiesJob duties include but not limited to:Answer phones and triage calls Schedule patients for cosmetic and medical appointmentsCosmetic Patient LiasonManage Patient Portal electronic messagesVerify insurance coverageWork in multiple settings within the office to support patient careAssist with cosmetic and medical proceduresEducate patients about cosmetic products and proceduresManaging all aspects of patient care Managing patient flow: rooming patients, cleaning rooms, monitoring waiting room
QualificationsThe ideal candidate would be able to remain calm under pressure, navigating many tasks simultaneously while ensuring that our patients have the best in office experience. Experience with HIPAA, triaging calls, basic medical terminology, lab processing, surgical procedure scheduling, prior authorizations and prescription processing is a plus. This ideal candidate would make our patients feel welcomed and well taken care of. Software knowledge of Athena, Quickbooks Online, EPIC, Chrome, typing 65 wpm
