Pension Analyst

This non-exempt position consists of a 37.50 hour work week with daily work hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. A Hybrid arrangement is possible after full training. The Pension Benefit Analyst reports to the Pension Manager. The Pension Benefit Analyst will be responsible for the processing and payment of pension benefits, including the preparation of files, reports, etc., responding to inquiries and performance of data entry. Other activities will relate to set up of health benefits eligibility for retirees. Responsibilities include: 1) Review and evaluate pension applications.2) Establish, calculate and maintain pension records.3) Assist plan participants with benefit issues and questions.4) Prepare well structured written correspondence for participants and attorneys.5) Assist in the preparation of various reports and special projects.

Accountabilities

• Must maintain acceptable and predictable attendance.2) Must have knowledge of Pension and Health Benefit Plans3) Must be able to communicate effectively with participants, attorneys, Business Representatives and professional service providers. Position Qualifications:
• Education Required/Preferred: College Degree 2) Experience Required/Preferred: Minimum of two years in the administration of employee benefits. Skills Required:
