Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Washington, DC for a Prepress Manager/Digital Press Specialist at MOSAIC EXPRESS - DC Location. The Prepress Manager/Digital Press Specialist will be responsible for performing prepress tasks, including preflighting files, preparing files for digital printing, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role will also involve operating and maintaining digital printing equipment, ensuring print quality and efficiency, and managing production schedules and deadlines. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
QualificationsStrong knowledge of prepress processes and digital printing technologiesProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and IllustratorExperience with color management and color correctionKnowledge of FIERY RIP software and digital printing equipmentAbility to troubleshoot technical issues and perform routine maintenance on printing equipmentExcellent attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience in a print production environment is a plusAssociate or bachelor's degree in graphic design, printing technology, or a 5 years in related field is preferred"
