Position Overview:Corpus Christi is seeking a new Principal who will fulfill the mission of the Catholic school by serving as the spiritual, educational, and managerial leader. As principal, you will be responsible for the implementation of the philosophy, mission, objectives, and the overall management of the school and professional effectiveness of the staff.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborates with the pastor/parochial minister in implementing the mission of the ParishEnsures the development and implementation of an overall learning environment which promotes Catholic faith formation/education, ethical decision-making and social justiceDevelop, implementation and evaluate a comprehensive curriculum program which complies with Archdiocesan and state standards of curriculum requirementsRecruit and Supervise certified support staff Continued development and maintenance of learning standards for studentsMaintain effective communication systems between parents, teachers and school administrators.Updating policy and process to bring them up to current standardsPreparation and submission of all necessary reports to the stateOversee the overall financial plan for the schoolParticipate in fund-raising activities and development programs
Requirements:Leadership background in faith-based K-8 educationFluent in the most up to date relevant educational technology Understands the final word is Monsignor Kidney's (parish head priest)Looking for a candidate who does not currently have or want small childrenMA/MS degree in School Administration or another related areaHas completed successful administrative experience in Catholic schoolsCommitment to the Catholic philosophy of education
