📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Office Nurse will support the Lead Nurse in providing non-hands-on coordination for Adult Foster Care clinical activities. These tasks include but are not limited to: serving in the area of reviewing assessing and advising regarding member documentation, supporting member enrollment, prior authorization and insurance audits, providing support for member and caregiver visits, assessments, and training
Fluency in Cape Verdean Creole or Spanish is greatly desired. Ability to perform admission visits, MDS completion and review, semi-annual & annual assessments, progress note, and able to support caregiver instruction for safe home environment. The right candidate will also be team-oriented, possess great listening skills Responsibilities/Job Conditions:1. Must have a driver’s license and be willing and able to drive to member residence.2. The ability to access member homes which may not be routinely wheelchair accessible is required. Hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity must be enough to perform a physical assessment of the member and to perform a physical assessment of the member’s condition and to perform and demonstrate patient care.3. Physical activities include, walking, sitting, stooping, standing and lifting light weight items.4. The ability to communicate both verbally and in writing is required as frequent communication by telephone and where writing is involved.Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physiciansProvide care education to patients in person or over the phoneAdhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
Qualifications:· A qualified candidate will be a licensed RN with a minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in Adult Foster Care. The candidate must have an active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.· The ideal candidate will be punctual, organized, friendly and demonstrate exceptional communication skills.· Salary: TBD/Based upon experience
