Core Security Services is hiring Armed Protection Specialist for its retail store customer locations throughout the Phoenix area. Minimum Requirements * Pass background investigation* Pass drug test* Must have own firearm and duty gear, including level II or higher retention holster * 21 years of age or older* High school diploma or equivalent (Required)* Armed Security Guard: 5 year's experience (Required)* Arizona Department of Public Safety licenses and certification for Armed Security Guard (Required)* Good driving record, Emergency First Aid (CPR/AED) certification, TASER certified, OC Spray certified, Hand irons and Baton certified
Required Experience: Three or more years as a commissioned police officer, or four or more years as a reserve police officer, five or more years as an armed security guard, or an honorably discharged if retired military police officer (DD214)Required Skills:Interpersonal communication / conflict resolution situations, self-motivated, good communication skills (written and verbal) in English, detail oriented, ability to work independently.
Responsibilities • Provide protection to employees, customers, authorized visitors, vendors, and private property from harm, deters illegal activity, theft, and vandalism. • The days and hours of shift coverage for this position are Monday through Sunday. Day/Evening shifts 12pm-8pm, Overnight shifts 8pm-4am: Locations are throughout the Phoenix area.
