Social Media InternGain a diverse experience with a growing small business whose focus is to increase understanding of natural movement in hair by providing guidance and services for those with curls and natural movement; as well as articulating within the industry a cohesive approach that includes all hair. Audra McAvaddy, Hair Specialist values creativity and creative collaboration. This internship will provide work with social media as a portfolio (for Audra McAvaddy, Hair Specialist salon studio); social media as a marketing tool (for The Curly Tool Kit); and social media as a means for education (thecurlcenter.com).
Social Media Intern Job Responsibilities:Informative Video/Reel Creation for social media, website, and online shop.Helps Manage the company’s social media accounts and posts content.Collaborate on a Curly Tool Kit campaign.Analyzes analytics to gauge the success.Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.Provide suggestions for improving experiences on social platforms, websites, and internal processes.
Work Hours: PART-TIME - June 11th - August 6thYou will work closely with and be guided by Audra McAvaddy. IN-SALON MEETINGS: Tuesday mornings at 10am starting on June 11th - August 6th (July 2nd is negotiable; no Tuesday, July 23rd)FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE:Expected 10 hours a week (1-2 hour meeting; approximately 2 hours per day of productive time).REMOTE & IN-SALON FLEXIBILITY: We will decide together which appointments (days & times) will be beneficial for you to be present to get content from based on our agreed upon goals.
