About the JobThis individual will play a key role in supporting the financial planning and analysis function of the organization. This position will be responsible for providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to various stakeholders.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic plans.Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Prepare financial models, sensitivity analyses, and scenario planning to support decision-making and business strategy.Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities.Assist in the preparation of management reports, board presentations, and other financial presentations as needed.Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by management.Maintain and enhance financial planning and analysis tools, processes, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and accounting standards.Mentor and develop junior analysts within the FP&A team, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.Stay informed about industry trends, economic developments, and best practices in financial planning and analysis.Requirements:Minimum of bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.3-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related field.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial planning software/tools is a plus.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.CFA, or MBA designation/certification is a plus.
