Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in the Atlanta, GA are for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for Power Sports Products. The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will design the overall vehicle control system development; the entire electrical systems and components for power sports vehicles and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards, cost targets, and performance requirements.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field5+ years of experience in electrical design engineering with a focus on power sports or automotive productsProficiency in Electronic Circuit Design and verificaiton of embedded equipment and system. Microcontroller integration preferred; Advanced CPU knowledge; 2D drawings; PCB LayoutExpertise in motor control, battery management systems, power electronics, and DC-DC convertersExperience with PCB design testing and troubleshooting thermal analysis, and reliability analysisAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams and excellent communication skillsExperience with manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability, and cost reduction initiatives is a plusExperience with ISO 9001 and/or TS 16949 quality standards is a plus
