Dental Assistant

NaphCare is hiring experienced Dental Assistants just like you to join our team at the Jacksonville City Sheriff's Office located in Jacksonville, FL. We currently have PRN positions available! Pay rates range from $17.00 - $20.00 per hour based on shift, site needs, and experience.

Position Description

Coordinate dental services and assist Dentist with patient care, instruments, supplies, documentation and support the function of the dental departmentAssist in documentation and maintenance of all patient dental recordsAssist in triaging and scheduling of all dental sick call requestsPrepare clinic with appropriate instruments and materials for scheduled visitsAssist Dentist during treatment by providing instruments, materials, retraction or suctionMix and fabricate all restorative materialsEnsure all dental equipment properly maintained and functioningSterilize and disinfect equipment and toolsDevelop all routine radiographs

This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.
