Responsibilitiesdevelop, prototype, and integrate new intelligence analysis techniques using OPIR dataplan, execute, and lead research, development, and analytic efforts that further the Persistent Infrared Analysis Squadron (GSP) missionthe evaluation and integration of new sensor data into GSP analysisand mentor junior analysts and researchers in the performance of their job dutiesSquadron leadership on all matters related to research, development, and technical data analysisSquadron research and development personnel in the creation and execution of a Squadron R&D Plan the transition of developmental capabilities into operational useQualificationsphysical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.of a wide range of processing and exploitation methods/techniques, practices, and intelligence researchknowledge of the intelligence cycle, intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles, and missions of the national Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, and USAFto apply intelligence cycle knowledge, methodologies, principles, and concepts to accurately identify intelligence requirements or shortfalls of systems, subsystems, and/or support equipment to provide technical advice and directionin conducting complex research, including the ability to identify appropriate systems/data sourcescommunication skills, with the ability to deliver effective written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposesto serve as the technical focal point and leader of a team, including establishing and achieving objectives, interacting with stakeholders, and communicating results
