Job Description

This is a field claims opportunity and the ideal candidate will be located in New Orleans, Metairie Covington, Slidell or Hammond, LA.

Prior Claims handling, Adjuster License & estimate writing in CCC is required.

Job Summary

This role utilizes analytical skills to create a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition.

Key Responsibilities

Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage lossesProcesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the companyNegotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limitsApplies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practicesBuilds established relationships with both internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience2 or more years of related experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Ability to obtain and maintain adjuster licenses as required

Functional Skills

Possess knowledge of estimatics software (Mitchell/CCC/Audatex, etc.)Strong interpersonal skillsAbility to operate electronic devices including computers, cameras and cell phonesStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective skills in time management, organization, and the ability to work under pressure,Ability to adhere to project deadlines and remain flexible in a changing environment

The base range offered for the role is: $58,500 - $85,00 and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors.
