Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is looking for journey level Engineer Project Managers

A NAVFAC Project Manager provides independent, timely, and professional project management services for the planning, design and construction of assigned projects for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands, including special projects, military construction (MILCON), demolition, maintenance, space utilization and facilities development.

As a Project Manager you will:Be responsible for the project management work related to the delivery of NAVFAC Design and Construction products and services for military construction and special projects.Plan and lead meetings and conferences required for execution of the project(s).Be responsible for tracking the progress of facility design to ensure execution remains within scope, budget, and on schedule.Identify and manage areas of risk associated with planning, design, and construction and develops mitigation strategies or alternatives. Engages and notifies appropriate stakeholder(s) for resolution when project exceeds scope, budget, or schedule. Makes final review of completed plans and specifications to make certain funds are adequate to cover estimated cost and within authorized scope.Participate as a member of the AE selection boards and provides recommendations for contract awards. Assists in the negotiation of AE contracts, and provides direction consistent with Navy policy to AE firms.Leads/serves on Best Value Source Selection boards for construction contractors; leads/serves on Technical Evaluation Teams, and provides recommendations for contract awards.

Salary: $93,143 - $140,155A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.9% will be added to the stated salary
