Summary

You will serve as a Fuel Distribution Systems Worker in the Fuels Management Branch of Base Supply within the Logistics Group at NAVSUP FLC SD GF.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: The ability to do the work of a WG-5413-08, Fuel Distribution System Worker, under close supervision, performing common tasks including receiving, storing, transferring and issuing both aviation and ground fuels; operating pumps and accessory equipment to load, unload and transfer fuels; monitoring the operation of gauges and meters; gauging tanks; receives and transfers fuel by coupling and uncoupling hoses, closing and opening valves; operate one or more types of special purpose design aviation and ground fuel-tank truck vehicles having a capacity of up to 10,000 gallons and gross vehicle weight (GVW) in excess of 100,000 pounds, that are used for fueling/defueling various types of aircraft, and ground fuels applications; inspecting equipment such as hoses, pumps, tanks, and fittings; complying with established regulations for handling fuel; complying with laws and regulations to handle Hazardous Material (HAZMAT).
