Materials Management Manager

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Materials Management Supervisor to join our team!

The Materials Management Supervisor will oversee the materials responsibilities in the department while providing materials support for the production line.

Responsibilities

     Oversees activities related to the purchase of material, material control, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions     Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems     Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels     Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering     Reviews and plans requirements for purchasing materials     May prepare material requirement plans using enterprise resource planning systems     May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system     Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degreeAt least 8 years of materials management experienceAt least 2 years of management experience

OR

Master’s degreeAt least 6 years of materials management experienceAt least 2 years of management experience

OR

At least 10 years of materials management experienceAt least 2 years of management experience

Additional Requirements

Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
