📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Digital Content Creator who will be responsible for producing and publishing various types of digital content. You will collaborate with our multimedia specialist and our lines of business to help create and execute content, including blog posts, social media posts, and marketing materials. You will also be responsible for taking advantage of testimonial opportunities by conducting and recording brief interviews with customers and policyholders. If you have a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of digital media, we encourage you to apply. Essential Functions: Various marketing content: Create and publish engaging content for various digital platforms including social media, blogs, and website. Work with lines of business to determine digital strategy; monitor and analyze the performance of content and adjust strategies/provide recommendations as needed. Will also help ensure that content is aligned with brand standards and product offerings. Webinars/podcasts: Create a content plan for webinars and podcasts. This person will help execute that plan by scripting, outlining, scheduling, etc., then working with our multimedia specialist and graphic designers to complete and publish. eNewsletters: Work with our Student Coordinator to produce a quarterly student newsletter and the line of business on our quarterly naturopath eNewsletter
Testimonials: Ownership of our testimonial function to contact leads for quotes and videos about the company, products and services, for use on social media, on the website, in marketing campaigns, etc. Requirements: Education: College Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, journalism, communications or similar field. Experience: Three (3) years of relevant experience. Skills and competencies: Keen interest in serving customers by providing relevant, actionable information that helps them do better. Solid understanding of content – ideation, development, and reuse across various platforms to differing audiences. Excellent writing and editing skills. Experience with webinar software. Knowledge of SEO, CRO, analytics is helpful. Familiarity with social media platforms. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Podcast experience a plus, but not required. Physical Demands: Continuous sitting for extended periods of time, some standing, walking, bending and reaching. Frequent use of fingers and hands to manipulate computer, telephone and other office equipment. Continuous use of eyes for writing, editing, research and for reading and responding to emails. Mental Demands: Works with little need for guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions in terms of planning and scheduling duties. Works with moderate guidance on sensitive risk management issues. Performs a wide range of marketing, editing and writing tasks as dictated by demands and changing conditions.
