Job Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the training of new drivers or drivers needing additional training, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and safety protocols to perform their duties effectively.Serve as a role model for other drivers, exemplifying professionalism, adherence to company policies, and dedication to excellence in service delivery.Act as a safety advocate, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance among all drivers, and actively identifying and addressing any safety concerns or hazards.Provide guidance and support to drivers on route planning, navigation, and efficient delivery practices, optimizing productivity while maintaining a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.Conduct regular performance evaluations for drivers, providing constructive feedback and coaching to help them improve their skills and meet performance goals.Coordinate with dispatch and other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules are maintained, and any issues or concerns are promptly addressed.Serve as a point of contact for drivers, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues they may have, and aiding and support as needed.Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and take appropriate corrective action when necessary to ensure adherence.Assist in the resolution of customer service issues or complaints related to driver performance or delivery operations, working collaboratively with the customer service team to achieve timely and satisfactory resolutions.Fill-in as needed for spotter and other driver duties.
