Director of Field Operations

We're seeking a Director of Field Operations to join a newly formed insurance solutions platform that will oversee a group of 10 mutual insurance carriers and their operations. This innovative platform provides the framework for their mutual carrier members to improve their operational efficiencies and overall profitability by increasing their speed and delivery to market with new and improved products, services, and coverages. The Director of Field Operations will report directly to the VP of Field Underwriting and work in conjunction with them to develop and implement an effective distribution strategy across a national agency force. This will consist of identifying, qualifying, vetting, and onboarding new agencies while managing existing agencies and overseeing a group of 10 to 15 Field Underwriters.

The ideal candidate will have multiline commercial underwriting experience and leadership experience, coupled with a unique blend of market-facing and home office experience working cross-functionally with other departments and constituents. Someone like this, who has aspirations to potentially transition into a VP and/or SVP level role with a game-changing organization, would be poised for success in this role.
