Welder

The Fab Shop area is responsible for providing support throughout the plant. In this the qualified individual will have the opportunity to weld different parts, tools and/or structures that will improve efficiency, safety and or just improve an existing structure. The individual will need experience in welding and will than be trained more specifically to better address our Foundry needs. This is an ideal position for someone who is motivated and likes to work in different work areas.

The Welder position is responsible for providing support throughout the plant via their direct supervisor direction. The role offers the opportunity to work in different areas throughout the plant, based on the specific task required. This is an ideal position for someone who is a motivated self-starter, interested in a variety of tasks and possesses the ability to adapt to an ever changing environment.Job Duties and Responsibilities: · Welding in a variety of techniques based on the need· Read and follow plans with specific dimensions· Using basic hand, air tools and hand hoists· Responsible for machine lock out/tag out when necessary· Forklift operation as required Must follow instructions Must have the ability to work long hours standing and lift up to 50 lbs.
