Position Summary
As the Sr. Inbound Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to efficiently coordinate the receipt of international product(s) by third-party warehouses and customers, demonstrating a high level of effectiveness. Additionally, you will be accountable for implementing and maintaining effective controls to ensure compliance and promptly address any gaps that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day with third parties customs broker and freight forwarder.Prioritize containers with Demand & Supply Planning.Oversee planning and pre-planning for appointments at each entry DC.Provide visibility on inbounds volume as inputs for the Logistics Resources Planning.Collaborate internally with Demand & Supply Planning and Logistics teams for exceptions management.Manage Non-Compliant Receipts (NCR) for Int'l inbounds.Responsible for claims on Int'l inbounds through HQ Portal.Assit the inbound specialist with any Inbound related projectsAssist as a backup for the Inbound Specialist and Customs/ Compliance Specialist Manage reporting for the Transportation Freight CoordinatorCreating Manual Commercial Invoices for all shipments in US territories Including but not limited to US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico etc.Overseeing the A-Z Process of setting up and ensuring correct documentation for customs compliance Intermarket transfers from Canada and the UKReviewing the entry packets that are received from Geodis (our customs broker). Setting up LTL and FTL outbound B2B and B2C shipments, and some DC-to-DC Transfers Providing PODs for small Parcel along with any B2B and B2C orders Responsible for internal reporting on Int'l (weekly inbound import log and ASN reports).Report score for internal Transportation Operational Review Meetings (Weekly/Monthly).Prepare report and analysis for performance/business reviews with third parties (Monthly/Quarterly).Extract periodic and adhoc reports from BI platforms.Communicate internally to Supply Chain and externally to 3PL's about planned and unplanned situation impacting operations.
Experience & Education Requirements
College Degree required; preferably in Supply Chain OR equivalent work experience1-2 years professional experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and dealing with 3rd Party Warehousing strongly preferredProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required Proficient in ERP, OMS and TMS systemsExcellent problem-solving skills - highly detailed orientedExcellent administration and reporting skills Effective influencing skills.Strong stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independentlyAbility to work under pressureStrong decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsResult focused with a strong service orientation and organizational / planning skillsAttention to detail and adherence to schedules
The approximate pay range for this position is $55,000.00 to $70,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
