📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Title: Development/Research Engineer Location: Mossville, IL (100% onsite)Duration: 12 months
Typical task breakdown:Review test cell data and ensure no issues with Aftertreatment or performance shift.Ensure all cell hardware is accounted for, current and future programs. Make sure they are tracked properly electronically to accumulate hours.Run simulations to ensure catalyst performance meets program needs.Perform analysis for new programs on total catalyst volume needed to meet required emissionsTroubleshoot and fix aftertreatment related issues/codes in test cell, especially during installCreate aftertreatment related diagnostic maps and simulate they tripGather test cell data for boundary conditions hardware will undergo while testing/out in application and for emission cycles
Education & Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or related curriculum and 2-5 years of progressive work experience
Technical Skills(Required)Catalyst ExperienceTest ExperienceMatlab and/or Python analysis and modeling for engine and/or aftertreatment performance
