Advertising Traffic Coordinator

The OTV Central Traffic Department is responsible for the production of all the linear logs and schedules for all of the ABC and Localish OTV Television Stations (8 markets, 18 logs total).The department consists of 4 core teams, 2 inventory teams, 1 programming team, and 1 copy team. This is a team that works remotely, but team members are required to keep actively engaged with other members of the team, team members at station sites, Ad Sales, and DC3 Operations in Woodlands, TX. Being open to maintaining regularconnections through phone, Zoom (cameras on), Microsoft Teams, etc. is all required.

Job Summary:Traffic Specialist is responsible for assisting copy and inventory management for the OTV D1 and D2 logs, as well as the Local-ish Network. They will be assisting the placement of spots, filling of open time with promos/psas from libraries managed by the stations, and communicating with station sales, OTV copy, and OTV programming on status update of logs.They may also be responsible for assistance with copy management, logging incoming materials, management of copy/traffic communications, and applying agency traffic instructions. All functions performed in WideOrbit. They will also monitor order flow for the D2 logs, and process orders whenever necessary.This position can be entry level, but previous experience in media, agency, or other advertising experience is preferred.

Qualifications:Previous experience in broadcast industry, preference for experience in trafficking.Must have impeccable attention to detail and data points.Computer savvy.Must be able to manage remote work/setup. Must be willing and able to stay in constant communication with team-members throughout the day via Slack, conference meetings, etc. and be immediately accessible during work hours.Must be adaptable to constantly shifting priorities.Ability to take direction and feedback.
