Who You Are

The Financial Consultant role is an important, exciting opportunity for you to develop and implement solutions for our new NetSuite for Government product within our growing business unit. In this role you will work with multiple NetSuite for Government customers and be responsible for the successful design and delivery of business solutions. You will work with a strong project team of leaders in the Oracle State & Local Business Unit, along with Product, Development and Support organizations to focus on delivering a world-class implementation of Oracle software and products.

You will use your experience in Government and Municipal accounting to identify customer needs and lead the delivery of a successful implementation activities. You will work with customers to configure and design workflows in the NetSuite for Government product. You will use your strong influence and collaboration skills to work successfully with internal team members and customers.

Own and deliver Oracle NetSuite for Government business solutions for the customerUse your background in government accounting and finance to identify and solve critical project objectivesDevelop trusted relationships with customers, set expectations, provide relevant and timely communication, to deliver on promises and commitmentsYou will partner with Product, Development, and Support to define and develop implementation tools and practices for future projects.Methodically handle complex business and logistical challengesProvide regular status on deliverables and achievements to the project team and to the customerExercise creativity, independent judgment, and business insight in selecting methods and techniquesExhibit strong executive presence and ability to interact with key project sponsors

What you've done:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (minimum 8 years) work experience5+ years working on sophisticated cloud and SaaS projects to successful delivery5+ years in a government accounting including familiarity with GFOA rules, fund accounting, and municipal accounting terminology and processes. Experience using Oracle NetSuiteConfirmed self-starter that proactively develops working relationships with key internal and external customersStrong analytical and time management skillsExperienced with gap analysis, risk mitigation, issue documentation, tracking and prioritizationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsShown comfort working in rapid paced environments with evolving expectations and priorities.Able to travel up to 50% of the time depending on need

It would be outstanding if you also had

PM Methodology certificationScrum Master certificationKnowledge/familiarity with Oracle products and services, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Management experience, handling and leading a team

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 - $199,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
